Pizza Playing Cards

Pizza is one of the most loved food in the world, originating in Italy (Naples), a long time ago. What is certain is the date of birth of the Pizza Margherita (or at least the name): the year 1889, and it was dedicated to the Italian Queen: Margherita of Savoy.

Italian immigrants have brought pizza around the world, and we want to celebrate this now global food with Passione’s Pizza Playing Cards. The goal is to represent fun, likable characters from all over the world cooking, serving or delivering pizza. Who is gonna eat all that pizza?!

MARGHERITA
Of course Italians are at the heart of this deck, how could it be different? The King is Mario, a "pizzaiolo" from Naples, while the Jack, Antonio (Tony for his friends) rides a Vespa and delivers pizzas in the neighborhood. If you go to Mario's pizzeria you'll meet the lovely Queen: Maria. Don't forget to order the typical "Margherita", sometimes the best things are the simplest ones.

ARABIAN
Nusret (a true King!) runs the sophisticated Turkish pizzeria where Jasmine, the Queen,works as a waitress. Nusret is a top-level chef and his Arabian pizza is one of the most appreciated. He can deliver pizza wherever he wants, thanks to Khalid, a Jack driving a super sporty SUV.

PEPPERONI
Bob owns a restaurant in Kentucky, and they don't call him "the King of pizza" for nothing: his "pepperoni" pizza is to die for! If you can survive the awesomeness of his pizza, chances are you'll be struck by his daughter hotness: Harper serves at the tables like a true Queen and it's not uncommon to see customers flirting with her. Tyler, the Jack, is a fitness fanatic and sometimes he takes the longer road to delivery your pizza, just to train more. But don't worry, he's never late!

MAYO JAGA
Wang opened a pizzeria in his hometown a long time ago and his popularity has grown over time. Now, after fifiteen years he is recognized as the King of pizza, also thanks to his super Mayo Jaga pizza, and his daughter, Zoe, is ready to carry on with the pizzeria, becoming the Queen of Mayo Jaga pizza. Although their pizzas are unconventional, Wang and Zoe stick more to the tradition when it comes to delivery: Zhao is the Jack that will drive his rickshaw everywhere to bring you a hot pizza, always with a smile on his face.
