Stretching Card is a trick in which a picture card - placed between two other cards - is extended quite violently. A completely impossible card trick with three cards. If one is to believe what one sees, the magician must use more than three cards. You admit that you have an extra card and spread 4 cards out in a range. You show the two number cards and the picture card - and hold the extra card with the back facing the audience. There is probably no reason to show that. But the audience insists - you give in. And big is the surprise. A classic "sucker effect" that is easy to perform.
This trick with giant cards can of course be used on stage, but is also really good for table hopping and free-standing close up.
