The King of Hearts is placed between two 10 of Spades. Suddenly the King is turning upside down. Then one of the 10 of Spades changes into King of Hearts and the colour of the backs changes from black to red. The spectator is confused. But you are fair and want to help the audience in keeping track of the King and making everything much easier. Therefore you place one of the 10s on the table. You now have King of Hearts (red back) in the right hand and 10 of Spades (black back) in the left hand. Now everyone should be able to follow where the king is. Oh! No! Suddenly you have two 10 of Spades with red backs in your hands - the King of Hearts must be the card on the table. Another surprise - the King has gone. He has even left the card.
